Our Love Story

by Andie

It all started under the canopy of the Manistee Forest ... literally.

The initial spark came from Chance's sense of adventure. He first caught my attention by scaling a tree like he was born in the branches, then promptly presented me with snakes and crayfish (every girl's dream). What began as a simple kayaking trip at Tippy Dam quickly escalated into a leech-removal rescue mission and ended in a fierce rock-skipping competition.

Somewhere between the relentless teasing and our shared competitive nature, something shifted. I began to see him beyond the devilishly good looks and the rugged mountain-man charm, and recognized how deeply we connected. He is the most patient, kind individual I've ever met, with a unique way of moving through the world.

Somewhere between the laughs and the leeches, we nurtured a passion not only for the things that bring us joy, but for the person who brings us the most joy: each other.

We now navigate the world with that same intensity, passion, and a rare kind of patience for one another that is ours alone. I am his, and he is mine. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Our Love Story

by Chance

Her obvious love to be surrounded by the trees, appreciation for quality time spent with good friends and the clear importance of close family bonds are what attracted me most.

She was beautiful and someone who could not be missed in a crowd. Self-interest is not in her blood and she will alwyas do anything in her power to make someone feel special and loved.

She is my number one motivator and supporter. I couldn't imagine myself with a more loving and passionate person.

She's my everything and beyond.

Parking and Logistics

The parking lot is an acre field on sandy soil that drains well. There are there are three reserved spots for handicap parking at the north end, closest to the venue. How will I know where to park?

There is an "event parking" sign at the end of the driveway directing people who arrive earlier in the day. As it gets closer to the ceremony time, we will be present in the parking area to greet and direct folks.

Once You're There
